Minimum gear requirement: helmet, gloves, knee/shin guards, elbow pads, stick, and own roller or inline skates. (no roller/inline skates available for rent)

Wednesdays 6-7 pm

Free thanks to a SDAHA development grant

Attire: Sneakers/closed-toe shoes

(Ages are based on the level your child will participate in the upcoming 2024-25 season)

YAIA RINK Facility use:  As only the rink  portion of the building is being rented from 4H, players are expected to bring their own water, and parents and/or siblings who stay for practice need to remain in the arena/rink area (not the warming area).  Bathrooms are only for emergencies.  Please respect these parameters so we can maintain a positive relationship with 4H.  

Extreme heat cancellation notice: If the actual temperature for Yankton is 95 or higher, or if the heat index is 100 or higher as reported by the weather channel 1 hour before practice, then roller hockey and/or shooting and skills practices at the Yankton rink will be canceled and will not be rescheduled (this does not apply to on-ice practices).
