Yankton Area Ice Association (YAIA) is a non-profit organization and run by volunteers. Each player's registration fee helps to cover the cost of uniforms, insurance, equipment, utilities, maintenance, and upkeep.

To request a scholarship for the registration fee, please complete this form and send supporting documents to the address at the end of the application.

The scholarship does not cover the USA Hockey fee, Ice Skating Institute (ISI) fee, or equipment rental fees.

Past approval of reduced fees does not guarantee future approval.

The last day to apply for reduced fees is July 15, 2025. All applications will be reviewed at the August board meeting during an executive session. Full approval of fee reduction is not guaranteed and the final determination will be made by the board. The Registrar and Coordinators are not responsible for the decisions of the Board.
